NextCell Pharma AB ("NXTCL") announces that Invest Stockholm has now placed NXTCL on the Life Science Hotlist.
The Stockholm-Uppsala Life Science Investment Hotlist is curated by Invest Stockholm and lists the most promising and innovative companies active in the field of life science. NXTCL with both its stem cell banking and drug development business is an ideal candidate for this list. The company develops novel treatments with stem cells from the umbilical cord. In umbilical cord and umbilical cord tissue there are young and viable stem cells that can be collected without any medical intervention. As such we have developed a drug candidate called ProTrans which is our first product and is currently being tested in a Phase I/II clinical trial on patients suffering from Type 1 diabetes. NXTCL also operates Cellaviva, the first Swedish family saving stem cell bank.
