The Med-Tech company PolarCool AB (publ.) has signed a two-year agreement with the English Championship rugby team Cambridge Rugby Club for the use of the PolarCap® System. This marks the company’s second agreement in the UK’s second-tier of professional rugby.
The agreement with Cambridge Rugby Club represents another important step for PolarCool in the English Championship, highlighting a growing commitment to enhancing player safety in English rugby. PolarCool has previously secured a similar agreement with league counterparts Doncaster Knights.

Cambridge Rugby Club boasts a storied history, as one of the oldest rugby clubs in England. In 2023, Cambridge achieved promotion to the English Championship, marking a significant milestone for the team. The agreement with Cambridge Rugby is strategically important for PolarCool, even though the financial impact of individual contracts is limited.
