The distributor Tura Group announces that Skatteverket has denied a deduction for an unused loss in a subsidiary and has decided on a tax surcharge of approximately SEK 5 million. The company considers that about SEK 4.7 million is "manifestly unreasonable" and intends to appeal and request a deferral of payment until the matter has been decided in court, according to a press release.As the amount is uncertain pending a decision, Tura will report it as a contingent liability and not as an expense and liability in the financial statements.As a result of this, the group’s tax expense for the current year increases by approximately SEK 1.6 million, attributable to 2023 and 2024.
