Several large property owners in Stockholm have chosen to join the digital access solution Smart Passage to facilitate rescue and medical operations in apartment buildings. The solution, from the technology company Amido, gives first responders temporary digital access via the existing access control system.Among the players are Heimstaden Bostad, Förvaltaren, Lundbergs Fastigheter and Afa Fastigheter. No financial details are disclosed in the press release. "For property owners, this is a way to future-proof their digital infrastructure. Smart Passage is built on existing systems and can be implemented without disrupting operations, which makes it easy for the property owner to join the service. That is how a standard emerges", says Patrik Simson, CEO of Amido.
