Ramlösa Shipping is investing 1.95 percent in the project company Atlantica Star and gaining exposure to the Kamsarmax vessel MV Jag Aarati, which is being acquired for approximately $15 million, according to a press release. The vessel was built in 2011 in South Korea and the project is carried out together with Atlantica Shipping and A.M. Nomikos. The investment gives Ramlösa Shipping exposure to the dry bulk segment with an estimated debt of approximately $8 million and a targeted annual dividend of 17–24 percent.
