The nanotechnology company Smoltek Nanotech states that the company’s CNF-MIM capacitors have shown very good stability in a new 1,000-hour lifetime test at 85 degrees and a constant voltage of 2 volts. No degradation was observed during the test.Compared with earlier tests, the capacitors exhibited more than 1,000 times lower leakage current, which, according to the company, strengthens its position in ongoing dialogues with industrial players and partners.“All the capacitors remained incredibly stable, with none of them failing. And most notably, the leakage current stayed within the picoampere range, while capacitance and ESR remained unchanged,” says Farzan Ghavanini, CTO at Smoltek, in a press release.
