Suntrade has had several battery storage projects in the electricity price areas SE2 and SE3 validated by Vattenfall and Ellevio and thus enters the implementation phase, according to a press release. The projects have passed technical and commercial review, enabling start of construction. Final design and procurement of EPC partners are ongoing ahead of the investment decision. Start of construction for the first projects is expected to take place during the second quarter of 2026.
