Norwegian diagnostics company Genetic Analysis has had its patent application US2017/0369941 approved by the U.S. patent authority. This is stated in a press release.The patent, which concerns a method to prevent false positive signals in DNA-based tests, strengthens the protection for the company's diagnostics platform. The fee has been paid and the patent is expected to be issued in the first quarter. The protection is valid until 2036.
