The finance figure Günther Mårder, suspected of insider trading offenses, has requested to leave the board of the technology company Amido with immediate effect after a dialogue with the company. Mårder has previously resigned from his board positions at the Swedish Public Employment Service and Raysearch, and has seen the property company Prisma Properties withdraw its nomination of him to the board.Mårder, also known as “Sweden’s stingiest man”, is suspected on probable grounds of four cases of aggravated insider trading between 2024 and 2026, but denies any wrongdoing. He is suspected of having leaked price-sensitive information about Raysearch.
