Technology company Freetrailer, which operates in the sharing economy, is expanding its cooperation in Germany with furniture giant Ikea by adding 139 trailers, bringing the total number to 289 at stores across the country. This is stated in a press release.The expansion takes place within the framework of the global cooperation agreement previously entered into by the parties and means that Freetrailer is expected to have more than 800 trailers in Germany during the summer. The agreement also gives the company access to ten new larger locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, one of Freetrailer's priority regions in the country.According to the company, the expansion strengthens its position in the German market and underlines the demand for the digital self-service solution for transporting larger purchases.
