Prospection company Lappland Gold Prospecting reports analysis results from the first core drill hole in the exploration permit Nya Gilleberget in Ljusdals Municipality. The drill hole shows a continuous gold-bearing zone of 28.05 metres with an average gold grade of 2.30 grams per tonne, including 10.50 metres with an average grade of 3.95 grams of gold per tonne. It is the same drill hole where visible gold was observed in May 2026."The analysis of the first drill hole confirms that the altered zone where we observed visible gold also carries gold grades over a continuous drill-hole length. Stortjärnhobben remains our main project, but the result from this first hole in Nya Gilleberget is highly interesting and motivates continued work with Nya Gilleberget", comments CEO Fredrik Johansson.The company is publishing the result before the entire drilling program has been analyzed because the information is deemed insider information, according to MAR. Analysis results from the remaining drill holes are expected in August 2026.
