Finwire about VibroSense Dynamics AB: Vibrosense initiates legal action against Chinese distributor over breach of contract

Medical technology company Vibrosense Dynamics has initiated legal proceedings against its exclusive Chinese distributor UMCare, citing breach of contract. According to the agreement, the distributor is to order products worth a total of approximately EUR 4 million over three years from the date the company received NMPA approval on June 4, 2025. Vibrosense says that UMCare has not fulfilled its commitments during the first contract period. The dispute may at a later stage be resolved through arbitration in China, a process that is expected to take about one year."I am both surprised and disappointed that we are now forced to take these measures in an agreement that is duly signed, executed and binding on both parties. The conditions for our product in China have moreover been significantly strengthened by our Class II NMPA certificate, which we received and which was a prerequisite for the implementation of the entire agreement," CEO Toni Speidel says in a comment.
