The nanotechnology company Smoltek has joined the battery consortium MAXBATT, led by Chalmers, which includes Scania, Volvo, Volvo Cars, RISE and Luleå University of Technology, among others. This is stated in a press release.The company will contribute its carbon nanofiber technology to research, validation and industrialization projects within next-generation batteries. According to CEO Magnus Andersson, the membership strengthens the path toward commercialization and broader industrial applications of the company’s CNF-based solutions.
