Hamlet Biopharma has been granted a new patent in the US and is also expected to receive a new patent in Japan.The patents strengthen the company’s intellectual property rights in drug candidates in the HAMLET family against cancer and IL-1-related technology for the treatment of bladder pain syndrome. According to the company, the cancer patent covers a production solution for Alpha1H, while the patent within IL-1 technology is important for the development of new treatments against bladder pain syndrome.After the additions, Hamlet Biopharma has over 150 active patents and more than 30 ongoing patent applications globally.The company states that the new patents are to be integrated with the continued clinical development and product development.
