Life science company Acucort's phase IV study ZEQ001 with the oral film Zeqmelit has been published in the Journal of Market Access & Health Policy following peer review. The study included 50 patients, of whom 44 completed it, and compared Zeqmelit with betamethasone tablets in acute allergic reactions. Acucort said in a press release.Of the patients, 98 percent were satisfied or very satisfied with Zeqmelit's availability, compared with 58 percent for tablets. Zeqmelit was chosen in 16 of 18 reported acute reactions, and in 94 percent of cases the effect was assessed as good or very good.- The study results are positive, and their publication in an international scientific journal is confirmation that the results are relevant from a scientific perspective.
