Zenith Energy has acquired a solar energy project under development of approximately 10 MWp in Foggia in Italy’s Puglia region. The acquisition raises the company’s total portfolio of solar energy projects under development to approximately 203 MWp and means that the previous target of 200 MWp for 2026 has been reached ahead of schedule.Zenith is therefore raising its target for acquired solar energy projects to 240 MWp by the end of 2026.The purchase price for the land for the Foggia project amounts to 96,000 euros and will be paid when the necessary permits have been obtained and the project has reached Ready-to-Build status.Zenith also has three solar power plants totalling 7 MWp under construction in Puglia, with commissioning and grid connection planned before the end of the year. The company previously signed a memorandum of understanding regarding a proposed sale of the approximately 50 MWp South Piedmont portfolio for 12 million euros.
