Design furniture company Gotland Art & Design, G.A.D, reports revenue of SEK 6.3 million and an operating loss of SEK 2.1 million in the second quarter, while the company is entering a seasonally stronger period.Net loss amounted to SEK 1.7 million. Earnings per share were SEK -0.24.For the first half of the year, operating revenue amounted to SEK 11.6 million and operating loss to SEK 3.3 million. Net loss was SEK 2.7 million.The group was formed on September 29, 2025, and therefore no comparative figures for the corresponding period of the previous year are reported.CEO Håkan Nilsson says that market uncertainty contributed to the result for the first half of the year coming in somewhat below the company's expansion plan. Delayed deliveries from subcontractors also had an impact, as a number of orders could not be delivered and recognized as revenue before the end of the half-year period."Our plan for the full year remains largely unchanged," the CEO writes. At the same time, the company will continuously evaluate market developments during the autumn and may revise certain parts of the plan.During the half-year, G.A.D, among other things, expanded production capacity through additional external certified joinery workshops, strengthened its market presence in Sweden and internationally, and initiated new design collaborations.No separate financial forecast is provided.
