The medical technology company Bibb Instruments increased revenue in the second quarter from low levels, while the operating loss widened and the company continued the commercialisation of EndoDrill.Revenue amounted to SEK 0.5 million (0.0).Operating profit, EBIT, was SEK -5.6 million (-3.9). The deterioration in results is mainly explained by the fact that most of the previous capitalisation of development expenses ceased after sales began, meaning that costs previously capitalised are now expensed directly.Net profit amounted to SEK -5.6 million (-3.8). Earnings per share were SEK -0.05 (-0.09).Cash and cash equivalents amounted to SEK 35.4 million (15.8) at the end of the quarter. During the quarter, a rights issue was carried out that provided the company with approximately SEK 41.9 million before issue costs.CEO Fredrik Lindblad states that sales in the US amounted to USD 51,460 during the quarter, corresponding to approximately SEK 0.5 million, which was the highest quarterly sales figure since the market launch began in 2025. Together with TaeWoong Medical USA, the company continues to establish EndoDrill GI at more hospitals.After the end of the quarter, Bibb Instruments signed its first European distribution agreement for EndoDrill GI with Palex Medical Spain. The first European order was subsequently received, worth EUR 15,600, corresponding to approximately SEK 0.2 million. The launch in Spain is to begin during the autumn.Bibb Instruments also plans to commence production of EndoDrill EBUS during the autumn and to submit an application for US marketing approval.
