A larger number of investments are in the procurement phase, which has contributed to more requests for quotations. The construction segment is also developing positively, with increased order intake. At the same time, the company is seeing higher steel prices and longer delivery times as a result of EU regulations and has therefore increased its buffer inventories. The unrest in the Middle East has temporarily dampened the industrial economy, but ABAS is experiencing a rapid recovery in demand and says that development compared with previous years is positive. After two years of efficiency improvement efforts, the company assesses that the measures are now beginning to have the intended effect.
