The research company Chosa Oncology has entered into a strategic partnership and global licensing agreement with AIDA Oncology for the use of the companies' technologies in breast and lung cancer, respectively.AIDA is granted the right to use Chosa Oncology's Platin-DRP in breast cancer, while Chosa is granted the right to use AIDA's drug predictor TaxaTect in lung cancer."This partnership provides an effective way for Chosa to accelerate value creation. By leveraging the combined technologies, datasets and expertise, Chosa can expand into new indications faster and with lower development risk," says Chair of the Board Ingrid Atteryd Heiman.The agreement is mutual, global and non-exclusive. The companies will pay each other a fee per test, but the amount of the fees is not disclosed.Due to an overlap between the companies' founders, the agreement has been reviewed by Chosa Oncology's independent board members to ensure that the transaction is conducted at arm's length.
