Earlier today, Xoma announced that it is raising SEK 8.3 million in a directed share issue. The capital will, among other things, finance expanded testing and potential new pilots, where the company wants to demonstrate that the purification process works in actual operations and can be scaled up.The capital will primarily go toward expanded testing and potential additional pilots with existing partners, operation and further development of the FLOW project, as well as ongoing working capital. The issue entails dilution of approximately 17.7 percent of the shares and approximately 13.1 percent of the votes after the issue. How long will the capital from the issue last at the current cost level?- We have not communicated any forecast for how long the proceeds from the issue will last at the current cost level, and we are not doing so now either, CEO Mourad Lahdo tells Finwire. In the upcoming tests and pilots, Xoma primarily wants to demonstrate that the company's process works under actual operating conditions and can be scaled to the volumes and conditions required.- The purification process also varies depending on the metal and the type of mine or industry. There is therefore no universal method that suits all partners.Xoma has not singled out any individual project as being closest to becoming a commercial business.- The collaboration we have made the most progress with right now is Boliden, where we are building the first pilot, says Mourad Lahdo.
