The exploration company Lappland Guldprospektering plans a 10,000-ton trial mining at Stortjärnhobben and will apply for an environmental permit before year-end.The company has signed a letter of intent with Dragon Mining to process the material at the Svartlidens processing plant, about 50 kilometers from the deposit.According to CEO Fredrik Johansson, the facility is already equipped to handle external ore and could also be used in a future full-scale operation. No financial details are provided regarding the agreement.
