The investment company Renewable Ventures announces that the planned reverse takeover target, Xer Tech, which operates in defense tech, has received an order from DelMar Aerospace Corporation for an X8 drone system after three months of successful field tests in Canada. During the test period, the drone was used for methane leak detection and inspection of oil and gas infrastructure. The deal includes the drone, a spare engine, and a long-range antenna. No financial details are provided."Perspectum and DelMar are ideal partners to demonstrate the X8's capabilities in some of the most demanding real-world environments. This deal confirms our shared commitment to provide next-generation tools for airborne inspections to operators who require reliability, endurance, and flexibility in payloads," said Xer Tech's CEO Erik Herlyn in a comment. Xer Tech and DelMar are now exploring new multi-sensor configurations aimed at supporting more advanced missions for methane leak detection, as well as enabling additional inspection tasks within a single flight. Furthermore, new Canadian regulatory updates mean that practically any certified pilot can now fly the X8 system, significantly lowering the barriers to adoption.
