The cooling systems company APR Technologies, which joined Spotlight in January, has strengthened the organization during the first quarter with several key hires in, among other areas, R&D, production, and sales. The company reports strong customer interest after an international tour and states that several development projects have been added. At the same time, industrialization and the build-up of in-house production in Sweden are underway ahead of planned volume manufacturing. The organization has also been strengthened with people who have backgrounds in management roles at Ericsson. The build-up follows the established plan, and experienced staff have been recruited and are starting to come on board, the company writes. "I see significant opportunities for APR to gain entry with several of the largest tech companies globally and to build partnerships that give us a fast path into otherwise hard-to-reach segments," says Lars Almhem, CEO of APR Technologies.
