The solar energy company Absolicon is testing a new variant of solar collector with vacuum tubes within the INDHEAP project to achieve higher temperatures, up to about 400 degrees. An installation at Totalenergies in Spain is planned to start in the autumn with an operating temperature of around 200 degrees. At the same time, the company has received an order for a feasibility study from a global pharmaceutical company worth about SEK 50,000, regarding a combination of solar thermal energy and heat pumps in a factory in Italy.
