The nanotechnology company Smoltek Nanotech announces that its subsidiary Smoltek Hydrogen has been admitted to Swedish-German Cleantech Platform 2026, a program run by Energimyndigheten and Tysk-svenska handelskammaren. This is according to a press release.Participation provides an opportunity to expand in the German hydrogen market and accelerate the commercialization of technology for PEM electrolyzers and fuel cells, the company writes.The program also provides access to industrial partners, customers, and investors. Smoltek sees particular potential in fuel cells for, among other things, defense-related applications, for example for drones and portable power solutions. This applies when traditional batteries and diesel generators become too large, heavy, and easy to detect.
